A Peruvian-Chinese Celebration

Lunar New Year holds a special place in Peru thanks to the influence of Chinese migration and the Chifa traditions that became part of our everyday cuisine. From dim sum to wok-fired classics, the connection between Peru and China is natural,  and JARANA celebrates it loudly.

This year, we’re welcoming the Year of the Horse with a limited-time menu available from February 14 through February 17, featuring Peruvian takes on Chinese-inspired dishes meant for sharing. Expect playful, flavor-forward plates driven by wok cooking, sweet-and-sour tamarind sauces, crispy textures, and the generous spirit that defines both food cultures.

It’s the perfect excuse to gather friends, taste something new, and kick off the year with flavor, fortune, and good company — three things both cultures value deeply.

Celebrate Lunar New Year at Jarana New Jersey.
