A Peruvian-Chinese Celebration
Lunar New Year holds a special place in Peru thanks to a long history of Chinese migration that helped shape our culinary identity. From dim sum traditions to wok-fired dishes and street snacks, the influence of Chinese cooking lives deeply inside Peruvian cuisine — and no place celebrates that connection quite like JARANA.
This year, we’re ringing in the Year of the Horse with a limited-time Lunar New Year menu available from February 17–21, featuring Peruvian takes on dim sum-style dishes built for sharing. Expect flavors that blend technique, nostalgia, and a touch of Jarana’s playful personality, all served with the celebratory spirit this holiday deserves.
It’s the perfect excuse to gather friends, taste something new, and kick off the year with flavor, fortune, and good company — the way both Peru and China have always approached the table.
