Because One Day Just Isn’t Enough
In Peru, the first Saturday of February is dedicated to the Pisco Sour, a national holiday for a national cocktail. But at Jarana, one day just didn’t feel like enough, so we’re turning it into a month-long celebration of Peru’s iconic spirit.
Throughout February, Jarana Aventura will feature a special Pisco cocktail lineup showcasing both the classics that put Pisco on the map and the modern creations that continue to push the category forward. It’s a chance to explore how versatile this spirit really is: shaken, stirred, bright, aromatic, citrusy, or playful, always rooted in the traditions that make Peruvian cocktail culture so unique.
This year’s celebration also supports a cause close to home. A portion of proceeds from Pisco Month will benefit the Pachacútec Culinary Institute in Peru, an organization dedicated to training the next generation of Peruvian culinary talent. Founded to provide opportunity, education, and hands-on learning, the institute has become a key part of Peru’s modern gastronomic movement, shaping the chefs who will define its future.
So consider Pisco Sour Day simply the opening toast. This February we raise a glass to Pisco Month at Jarana, to community, craft, flavor, and the spirit that continues to tell Peru’s story, one cocktail at a time.
